and creating a more monolithic-looking

as the floor.
Weld rods create seams that are both
attractive and functional. Heat welding creates
clean, aseptic seams that block the penetration of
dirt and moisture. Heat-welded seams are mandatory
for installing some Armstrong floors, and required
by many building codes for flooring installations.
Heat welding is optional but recommended for other
Armstrong floors.
